There are numerous luminaries from around the world leading the way as we learn more about the relationship between our GUT HEALTH and OVERALL HEALTH.
We recommend and study the following experts:
Thomas Rau, MD Switzerland
Dr. Rau graduated from the University of Berne, the leading medical school in Switzerland, and is a certified Medical Doctor in both Switzerland and the United States. He began private practice over 35 years ago as a conventional physician specializing in internal medicine and rheumatology. But he soon noticed, “With classical medicine, my patients weren’t getting better.” Thus began his great mission in life – to create a new system of medicine that really did heal patients.
Driven by a relentless curiosity, Dr. Rau began studying every form of alternative medicine, beginning with the methods his patients told him, had worked for them. His travels took him all over the world, and included Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Ayurveda, homeopathy, and many other disciplines, from the most ancient to the most modern.
Dr. Rau began to combine elements of these disciplines with the legacy of Swiss medicine, a distinct medical tradition that dated back 500 years to the original Paracelsus. That gave him the theoretical understanding of the body’s powerful regulatory systems. He used this as the foundation of a comprehensive new medical theory he called “biological medicine”.
Cathy received Certification in Swiss Biological Medicine after over 10 years of study with Dr. Rau. You may attend seminars now in North America as you CLICK HERE.

In 2017 he received a Research Mentor Award from the American Gastroenterology Association and the Tom Connor Distinguished Scientist Award from Neuroscience Ireland. He was a TEDMED speaker in 2014 and is currently President-elect of the European Behavioral Pharmacology Society.
